After opening in the fall of 1998, The Trophy Club has hosted five of the state's most prestigious tournaments. In 1999, The Trophy Club hosted the Indianapolis Open, Indiana State Senior Open and the Challenge Cup. In 2001, The Trophy Club hosted the Indiana State Open and the Indiana Senior PGA Championship.
