The Blackthorn Golf Club opened to rave reviews August of 1994. The Irish Cottage style clubhouse sets upon a rolling naturally contoured heavily wooded 226 acre site. The par 72,7136 yard layout with four sets of tees offers a strategic test for golfers of all abilities. Braod fairways framed by 94 bunkers, wetlands, ponds, and native prarie grasses lead to sublty contoured and swept up tiered bentgrass greens.
Blackthorn Golf Course is a 19 hole layout, the first hole. The Barney Hole is the ulitmate mulligan, it is a short par four that plays over a pond to a well bunkered green. Take aim at the Blarney Stone for a chance at a complimentary logo ball by hitting it with your tee shot.
